History
A dream starts with a single step, and
with that single step continues a long journey to perfection. That is what Hollywood Cinematics would like to reflect off
of. Our corporation was found by Karl Morkunas in 1999. Karl Morkunas knew that he loved writing and acting when he first
made his small unpublished mini movies. The performing arts and entertainment is passion that he enjoys and it's a lifetime
goal that he is determined to succeed in. After contemplating for many weeks, Karl wanted a name to express his company
and have meaning to what he would produce. Hollywood was derived, because Hollywood, as we know, is the birthplace and the
spotlight of major movies. Cinematics is not actually a word that one would find in a dictionary, but it was a suitable synonym
for cinema that is in the plural form.
Goals: 1. To get our company off to a running start-prepare major future ideas for movies, and familiarize ourselves
with the art of special effects, computer animation, capturing digital video and editing.
2.
Create a website suitable for our needs- a website with streaming video, streaming audio, and more customizable options.
3. Produce mini-movies- these are movies that are quite small when compared to major Hollywood movies.
4. Develop a major company that would have the capacity to expand enormously- theme parks with
rides based on our films (i.e., Universal Studios), retail outlet stores, online ordering, music industry, and much more.
5. Succeed in life while enjoying it too- If one cannot enjoy their line of work then it's pointless
to continue, because it will only cause future emotional stress that not only lowers quality, but lowers self-esteem and endorphins.
6. Meticulous in every way- We cannot stand the sight of poor customer service and quality--as
long as Karl Morkunas is operating the show, everything will be near perfect or not done at all.
Accomplishments:
1. Succesfully completed the making of 3 mini-movies: Bertha Fats, McDonald's Doom,
The Best of Karl Morkunas.
2. Temporary website that is still under contruction.
3. Equipment obtained to
capture, edit, record, and improve digital video.
4. Software to compress all captured video.
5. Equipment
to copy video to CD.
6. HCentertainment Music division added.
